All
of us, as kids, were fascinated by the first view of the mighty sea. My foremost encounter with the Mystical Blue Beauty was at Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu. The breathtaking view atop
the World famous Pamban
Bridge opening up to the Indian Ocean is simply unforgettable. As we grew older, we always continued to cherish visiting a beach, while beach fanatics love to
reside in a sea facing home and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Every individual on earth has an exclusive experience with the Mystical Blue Beauty and I am no exception to it. Recently on a trip to Gokarna, near Shimoga, West Karnataka, India, with my colleagues, I was treated to a heavenly bliss , 5 beaches each separated by a hill and all the beaches boast of their own private coastline opening up to the Arabian sea.
As I relax on one of the exotic sea shores, the Kudle beach, in peace with the cool breeze hitting me as Trance music is played on my soundbox with my eyes gazing out towards the crashing waves, a thought pops into my mind.
The sea or The Mystical Blue Beauty, as I prefer to call it, gives away two things to the human race1)tranquility, through the sound of crashing waves in the background and memories (experiments have proved that sound of moving water is therapeutic in nature)
2)it rejuvenates our body, mind and life within.
The Mystical Blue Beauty taught me a few things that I never realized
before.
The sea shore is more like our inner voice and soul because at a beach all we happen to hear is the sound of waves splashing and crashing, which may be great to look at, but deep within them lies a mysterious story. Similarly, when our inner voice shouts out loud, all we can hear is that voice within and nothing beyond. Amazingly, our outward appearance tries to disguise the disturbance within.
Each night, the Mystical Blue Beauty throws off all the garbage/unwanted stuff to the shores, just as we humans wake up forgiving and forgetting all the sins of others and ourselves and start up fresh for a fantastic day ahead. The Mystical Blue Beauty is so huge yet it is so alone in its life, its frustration with its loneliness does come out once in a way in the form of huge waves , not tsunamis. Humans, when encountered with forced loneliness end up committing the most outrageous acts such as suicide or vent out the frustration on the closest living thing they find.

The
Mystical Blue Beauty would be incomplete if it were only the water or if it were only
the sea shore. Similarly, life would be incomplete if it were not filled with a combination
of happiness, ambitions, satisfaction, fear and sorrow.
The
Mystical Blue Beauty still has a life not explored much and a lot of it is
beyond the imagination of us, smart humans.
